Howdy there. I just transferred my mynintendo account to Club Nintendo. In my old account, I had over 150 registered products, but Club Nintendo only recognizes and credits me for about 20 of them. Does anyone know what the criteria is for retroactive coin credit, or, am I perhaps experiencing a glitch? Anyone else deal with anything like this? Why is it that only some registered game ...
Because Nintendo is cheap. Why is it that only some registered game ...
I imagine they only give out coins for games they are currently accepting feedback about. they don't give coins for the games... they give them for the survey. (at least in my experience). there's a lot of complaints about this new feature, but weren't they giving out nothing for it other than warranty extension before? the only people i feel for are those with registered games under the old system who can't get coins for them now. that sucks. but otherwise, it's something for nothing. i can't find fault in that.

Well, I guess that makes sense. When I heard about the announcement, I did the calculations in my head and came up with over 5000 points. I was a bit surprised when the total only came to 890. It sucks that I don't get anything for all the gamecube and gba games I have, but alas... also, they left off some that I just thought were more important... Picross DS, for example, didn't net me anything, as well as Hotel Dusk and Advance Wars, etc...
hey id shut up because before nintendo even did it for the us , we just got desktops and screen savers for our pcs, and that we can get elsewhere , oh and cheats also found here on this site, so the way i see it, oh and they dont give you for games on gc gba duh , , you cant possibly have 100 nintendo made wii or ds titles, because nintendo didnt make that many, 20 is reasonable, i only got 20 my self 9 wii 2 wii ware couple of vcs that counted each 10 , then i had 6 ds total up to 470

I dont understand why Excite Truck didnt give out any coins???? This would make me think that they dont care about people's thoughts on the game and therefore the end of the series... but that is kind of pessimistic of me, I really hope they make an excite truck 2 eventually.

Go to the FAQ on the Club Nintendo website. It says what games and VC/WiiWare downloads released before December 2008 qualify for points.
The whole thing just pissed me off lol. I can't even find the list of my games....
Damn Nintendo and their shenanigans.
I contacted Nintendo about this, and this is what they had to say:games which are no longer shipping to retailers do not have any surveys. All Nintendo-published Wii and DS games released in December 2008 and onward are eligible for surveys. There you go.
what annoyed me is that i cant register my wii to club nintendo. So none of my VC games or wii ware games count. I went to the shop channel and went to the place where your suppose to type your username and password. I typed it in. didnt work. I tried like another 10 times. and it kept saying error code 23123 (that number is made up). and yes i typed my name and password correctly. i tried like 10 different times typing as slow and accurate as possible.
^ The same happened to me. I looked up the error code in the site, and it says the same thing that the wiishop channel, and to call them if I stillhave the problem, but I'm too lazy to call.
