Do you think it is worth it to buy MP 1%262 on Wii or just stick with their ''intended'' controlsMetroid Wii-Makes
What do you mean by that? You can use the GC controller on the Wii anyway, if that's what you mean...Metroid Wii-Makes
if you already have them on the gc, then i wouldnt get the remake. the controls work fine on the gc anyway, so theres really no need

They were made for GameCube with lock targetting in mind. Period.
If you have never played them, then very much YESIf you have played them, but are looking to play them again in a cool way, then YESIf you have them around the house and just feel like playing them again, then NO
For me I am thinking about rebuying Metroid Prime with the Wii controls because it is hard for me to go back and play it on the GC. The MP3 wii controls are just so much better than the GC. Yeah MP did not have as much action as MP3 but it will benefit greatly with Wii controls for me. I hope they add some new content in it to. It was the best of the series imo.
I don't think pointer controls is necessarily an improvement for these games, as all the game mechanics were designed with lock on in mind.
Personally, it's not worth it to me, as I've already played through both games multiple times.
Edit:

I have to agree that it's difficult going back to GC controls on these games after playing MP3, but I think it might be difficult to get the controls to work with the game, as it wasn't designed for it.
When exactly are these Wiimakes coming out?
I'll have to echo the statements above, and state that the games were indeed designed with the lock-on controls and GC layout in mind, and that implementing a radically different control scheme might be an awkward change for the game.
id buy mario kart dd in a heart eat if they made it, for wii , same for fzero gx 007 series etc, i dont care what any one says, a good game is a good game, so what if it were ported over, better then no good games at all , which wii has more good games like red steel 2 timesplitters 4 - yes the studiod did not shut down as rumored go to wikipedia, every other site is so full of it just a holiday joke , so every one can say oh its not coming they deserve what they got bla bla bla, even their website is still up and running with their latest furry radicals , blog . so i dont see how they are closed . nor do i see a reason , so what if one game didnt sell as well as lets say gta iv, look at ridge racer . that game series sales are terrible , they still make them
Im buying them. only because i have never played them before. If you havent played them before then i think you should buy them. if you have dont.
The controls in Metroid Prime 3 are so superb that I'll probably go out and get the wiimakes- esspecially the second one because I haven't played it. If you've never played the GC games i'd wait for the wiimakes.
