Official Wii and DS North American lineu ...
For the Wii, Nintendo has only two releases planned, both remakes of GameCube games designed to support the Wii Remote's motion-sensing capabilities. The self-explanatory New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis and New Play Control! Pikmin will both launch in March.Nintendo's DS lineup is a little more robust, spearheaded by the March 22 launch of Pokemon Platinum for the DS. Platinum reuses characters and settings from Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl in a franchise tradition dating back to Pokemon Yellow for the original Game Boy, a pseudo-sequel that incorporated elements of the previously released Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue.Beyond Diamond, Nintendo has two more DS games planned through March. Up first will be Personal Trainer: Math on January 12, an arithmetic addition to the practical game series that started with Personal Trainer: Cooking. Those looking for something a little more gamey can try Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon on February 16. The latest release in the turn-based strategy series will be a remake of the original NES Fire Emblem (which never made it to North America) with new touchscreen controls.(GameSpot)
Nintendo's titles are in BLUE italics. I personally can't wait for Madworld and Fragile - it should be on that list @_@
Looks like Sega is on a roll here.
I personally can't wait for Madworld and Fragile - it should be on that list @_@
Madworld is on the list. Fragile may not be coming to North America... unless you've heard something?

I have to say, looking at the list, the games that are new and interesting are all third party. Ninty's just rehashing.
that's depressing. the only things on there i want is pikmin and sonic %26 the black knight.

after I sent a message to Xseed they said that they were keeping an eye on it, but I don't know if I should count on that.
Also in the news, Ninty settled its lawsuit against Nyko over the wireless nunchuk controller that Ninty said looked too much like theirs and infringed on their trademark. So now Nyko changed the packaging and look of the controller. They went from this......to this...
after I sent a message to Xseed they said that they were keeping an eye on it, but I don't know if I should count on that.
Ya, well, perhaps they'll bring it over, but that doesn't sound like it will come before April.
They have missed some titles on that list. but the only one i am interested in is the pikmin remake.
Feb 16th and March 22nd are going to make me a very happy person.
Theres only like 2 or 3 games that spark interest for me :( its gonna be a sad year for me wii/ds
They have missed some titles on that list.
They missed more than half the Square-Enix titles for Q1: Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride (February 17th) and Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (March 17th). Both of which are on my preorder sheet for next year.TBH, my final list isn't done, but I know for sure Retro Game Challenge (final date is in Feb now) and HOTD:O are on it.
Cool madworld and the gc imports look cool still waiting for date on tatsunoko vs capcom
People need to stop complaining about the lineup. There's like 5 good games coming out and quite frankly, with the economy the way it is, we should all be buying less videogames anyway- why? Because there are more important things in life. Not to mention we know for a fact we have better games coming out later like Punchout!! and the Conduit. If you need a new game every three weeks then you have a problem, not nintendo. Not trying to be rude, just a little ticked about all the hate.
Im interested in quite a few games
 • Little King's Story
 • Mario Power Tennis
 • Pikmin
 • Rune Factory Frontier
 • Sonic and the Black Knight
 • We Ski %26 Snowboard
 • Moon
 • Legacy of Ys: Books I %26 II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 • Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
 • Flower, Sun, and Rain
 • Suikoden Tierkreis
 • Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time

....how the hell can intendo let so much shovelware on their console?there are only about 4 or 5 games i want
Zero first party new games for the Wii in the first quarterThat's troubling
No Punch-out!!? Us europeans got it in our first quarter list...
No Punch-out!!? Us europeans got it in our first quarter list...
Well Europe usually goes that way because it's the weakest region for gamingIt's the same reason Wii Fit and Mario Kart before North America. They're still trying to build up the base of customers before they release it in areas they're sure to get big numbers.
yes, that is a little pathetic on Nintendo's part.I understand they have can't support the entire catalog for the system (which is fine), but for god's sake, release a decent game once in a while. It's sad the last somewhat good game they released was MKWii, and again...when was that? Now we get two ports. Nice....I hope the big boys they spend on time on from here on out are epic because imo...they are going to lose alot of people (that play games on a regular basis) unless 3rd parties drop continuous bombs on us from here on out. It is possible, the DS obviously has shown that. But I'm still a little about the future of the Wii. We'll see though I honestly hope with all this new cash they've been receiving (and will keep receiving) they buy up a few more dev's like Retro, or at least expand their department. Then, maybe we can get some new IP's once in awhile
