GTA Wii, would it sell?

If Rockstar made a GTA Wii game would you buy it? Why you buy an upgraded port of GTA San Andreas or Vice City, assuming the port had online multiplayer? In addition to this, what would a port need to be successful on the Wii? Is there an audience for mature games on the Wii, or am I in the minority? I would like to hear others opinions.GTA Wii, would it sell?
id take a sanandreas sanandreas 2 bundle if not san andreas 2 GTA Wii, would it sell?
People often mistake GTA as hardcore, but in reality it's one of the most casual games out there, despite its mature appearance. Now, before you say only kids have Wii, or casual = kiddy, consider the fact that Wii has a wide audience. A very, very wide audience, which includes hardcore/teenage gamers who would love a GTA Wii. So yeah, it'd do reasonably well, but I can't see it being in the same league as GTA IV (saleswise). Now, would I buy it? If it's a GTA IV port, no. A ground up game made for Wii controls? Yes. However, I don't see that happening.
ill think about it. i bought gta4 for the 360 and stopped playing after the 1st week(guess its not my type of game), so the answer will probably be no. if we need some evidence if gta will sell on the nintendo's platform we got to see how the ds version will sell. i mean, if the game sells like crazy on the ds then i would expect the same for the wii. dunno, there's my 2 cents.
Of course a GTA game would sell on the WiiIt's one of the best franchises in gaming that has loads of content and many different forms of gameplay. It's a game that has something for everyone
It would be interesting to see the series come to the Wii. However, I'd want an original GTA game/series to be on the Wii. Maybe something along the lines of China Town Wars?

Short answer: Yes.Long answer: Hell Yes! I dont see why they couldnt apply motion controls and have traditional controls as optional. Also a GTA game like GTA III which didnt take itself too serious and had over the top gameplay and humor would be a perfect fit. Rockstar needs to get it thorough their head that the Wii is a console for everyone not just for the kiddies or soccor moms.
As for me, as long as the controls aren't attrocius I'll but it, which I doubt they will be bc/ Manhunt 2 were pretty good. I never played San Andreas, so that would work for me. I own and loved Vice City and would re-but that as long as it has online play. A GTAIV port is highly unlikely due to the system requirements, a dumb down version would probably be possible but not as likely as San Andreas port.I m not a huge exclusive person, I am ok with Multi-platform titles, I think too many ppl get hung up on exclusives. I understand the need for good controls, with that said I ve been dissapointed in Nintendo's lack of motion controls on some of thier games. With that said if you would only buy an exclusive list the reason why it has to be an exclusive title. Is it fear of bad controls, do you own all the GTA titles all ready? GTA IV is not exclusive to 360, PS3, or PC. I don't see too many ppl with 360's or PS3's saying that they wouldn't buy COD 4 or GTA IV bc/ it was Multi-platform. I just wonder if some Nin fans are too hard up for having exclusives.

Even if it is a console for 'kiddies' then thats one of GTA's largest userbases right there.
It would sell, I don't think theirs any chance of it not selling and making a profit.
It wouldn't sell, because the Wii is a family console with not much M-rated games.
If there was a GTA on the Wii I would want a new game made especially for the Wii. As for graphics we could have cell shading and a very cartoon stylalised look, maybe try to give it a Frank Miller look.
Only if the controls would work. But other than that.. yes of course. I would love to see a GTA: WII.

LOL seriously! Kids LOVE GTA! I'm not even kidding. If it wasn't rated M, I betcha every single 10 year old would have their own copy.
If it was released on all platforms I'd get it fo the 360 but if it was exclusive to the Wii I'd consider it.
I'd buy it.

You mean not many games. What you said simply isn't true. There are enough M rated games. Either you like GTA or you don't!
I can't buy it anyway. Parents...
