Hi guys I made this topic so that Zelda fans can discuss about what they want to see in the new zelda coming upPlease share your ideas What do you want to see in the new zelda ...
Cell shadedLink doesn't speakNo crappy twists like becoming a dogEnhance the basic Zelda formula instead of adding extras that don't work
I agree, I can't think of anything extra added other than changing into a dog. They need more new features, this is what sets it apart from the other good Zelda games, and the gameplay quality is just not at the same level. It doesn't separate itself like the others do and this hurts it if you ask me.
Challenge. Something the series has been sorely lacking since it went 3D.
I want voice acting for the next Zelda game

I like how in TP they had the hidden skills, wish they would do some more things like that. Even something where it didn't automatically kill the creatures or whatever, just some sort of sword skills beyond the same ones we've seen previously.
I'd hope they get off the side quests that give rupees. I mean, you don't have to do the side quests anyway cause they just help make the game easier, but serious.
Possibly some new items. The Ball and Chain in TP is a great example.
Open up the scenery a bit, make it so that it isn't a flat plain to work with. Other games are utilizing the walls, it would be nice to see that as well.
Not exactly a big request, but make the games a bit longer. Get more involved with the story or something.
Would love to return the music. OoT, MM, and Wind Waker all had that sort of musical aspect somewhere in the game, then it got lost.
Perhaps a story continuation. They try to make it seem like the stories are connected, but fail in my opinion except with OoT and MM.
Getting really technical, I would love a sequence where you get to use your arrows solely beyond the side games. I must have done that alien invasion on 20 times before I moved on to finish the rest of the game.
Stealth aspect. I love trying to figure out how to get through an area where I have to not be seen.
Would be fun to see them utilize the Wii board in some part.
Make the twist appear later in the game. It always comes to earlier IMO so you know something bad is gonna happen that makes you head out and do more things. It's gotten to the point I can tell the twist is coming soon cause I've almost finished the first quest they set me out to finish.
I'm all for more challenging puzzles, dungeons, etc. If they do any transformations again, make it something interesting (kinda how MM used that idea). Not sure if I'd want voice acting, just because it sorta takes the series out of it's original aspect, but it will probably go in that direction anyway.
Cell shadedLink doesn't speakNo crappy twists like becoming a dogEnhance the basic Zelda formula instead of adding extras that don't work
As much as it would please a few of us, I'm sad to say that Link's cell shaded days probably over. Luckily, so are his days of becoming a dog!I think about it and I really can't figure out just how they should enhance the basic Zelda formula. Obviously, the next game is going to be made with the Wii in mind so the controls will most likely revolve around that, but changing the controls isn't really going to change the formula at all. If the only thing they do is make the game wiimote friendly, I'll probably be sorely disapointed. So what can they do? Add crazy new items? A different way of moving through the story (more open perhaps)? Give the game a level system ala Zelda II?
Story wise Id like it set a 100 years after WW. The world is dying because the Triforce buried in the deep blue sea, Link and zelda must find a way to get it backwithin those 100 years a great field has formed from the seeds that the original korok had sown most of the oceans are covered no sailing, new creatures have formed and spread through out the world and in habit the great field known as Pokemon collect them all (needed to complete all dungeons but pokemon are not area pacific + over-world travel) well people complained about the fields being empty in Oot %26 TP The Korok have evolved into pikmen and are very useful in the lostwoods/inner deku tree dungeon where the great deku tree is dead and you need to get the pikmen to carry the last deku seed to safety from the skull kids parasites (metroids probably) main and only weapons: the hero sword, the hero bow, bomb, boomerang you start the game with all weapons, in fact to complete any of the dungeons you only need these four weapons and to collect and use the right Pokemon there is basically no other essential itemsthis game goes all the way back to Zelda roots with the main focus being on exploration and being open rather being plot driven
-1:1 sword controls (a challenging boss with a sword duel would be heaven for me)-link stays silent-no stupid transformations (the wolf in TP became completley useless after you get the master sword except for the sense which was stupid and teleport which should have been able to be used as a human.)-more than one ''world'' (and make it a complete one. WW and TP were terrible when it came to this. Hyrule in WW was so small. when i first got there, i was so exited untill i realized i couldnt go anywhere. TP's twilight realm was just as tiny. i want a entire new place to explore when i get there, not just a dungeon.
No cell shaded. That belongs on the DS.
I just want a new Zelda game. I'll leave it up to Nintendo to come up with things I never knew I wanted in a Zelda game rather than anticipate things I think should be in it. I know the things I don't want, Cell-Shading or voice acting of any kind. Although I'll admit, I'm hoping for a fully orchestrated score....
Cell shaded
I still remember that Spaceworld 2002 trailer of the new Zelda. Oh, how the people cried. How ''Cel-da'' became a joke around forums. How people screamed and cried for Link to go back to his ''true'' (lolz) Ocarina of Time self. So we get the announcement of Twilight Princess and everyone's happy again. Until they (seemingly) play it. And now we want the cel-shading back. What a wild trip it's been. (mind you, I would not be against Zelda taking the Prince of Persia graphical design. That game is gorgeous. I am however totally against Zelda being a Saturday morning cartoon again, and that's what Wind Waker was. What an epic disappointment)

Ah yeah yeah! I agree I agreee!
When you look at the history of Zelda games, at least a few of them have been revolutionary- The first Zelda, and Ocerina of Time both impacted the gaming industry in HUGE ways. Now Twilight Princess was (in my opinon) a VERY polished, very well-done game. But it didn't actually intruduce anything we've never seen before (aside from being the first example of how the Wii remote can enhance gameplay).Nintendo has alread said they are going in a new direction this time, and I think that whatever they come up with should be a huge step forward- not just for the series but for gaming.I think at least one way they could do this is by using Wii motion plus to create the most immersive experience gaming has ever seen. But who knows, sometimes Nintendo just surprises everyone. Thier best products are unexpected, they take everyone by surprise.
I ahve a couple of sugestions 1- NO MORE GANONDORF!!- i dont know about you but im tired of killing ganondorf over and over again. It was not even funny in TP when Zant went like ''oh and by the way ganondorf is back waiting ofor you in the castle...'' Im sick of this. Besides, new villains are always awesome, who didnt love Majora, Vaati, Veran, Onox and all the cool bad guys who are not a giant pig?2- New story- its obvious but necesary. It feels repetitive to go throwgh the same story over and over again. maybe getting link in a medieval war would be cool.3- Make it harder- TP was easy... give us intense combat and dificult puzzles only hardcore gamers can solve. If nintendo is still worried about the casual gamers then make some adjustable dificulty settings.4- Bring back dark link!!!-An epic duel between dark link and link would be awesome.5- more horse battles- please, they were cool. I want more.6-If necesary, maybe have link go to another land. PErhaps have majoras mask link go to another land when hes older and have a cool story there.7- Harder bosse. Bosses are meant to be hard and challenging, not pushovers. Please nintendo, make them hard, imposible if necesary!!!8-Rewarding sidequests please! Its frustrating in OOT to get 100 skultulas for 200 rupee and the 120 poe souls in TP for the same amount of money. Make some optional superpowerful sword a reward, like in OOT with the biggoron sword or the guilded sword in MM or even the lv 3 swords in Oracles.9- get rid of ganondorf, im tired of him to the extent i feel it necesary to repeat it. Please nintendo, i know ganondorf is like mario's bowser but please, get rid of him. Hes only holding the series back by giving us the same cliche with the master sword and the evil pig.10- Voice acting- make it optional. like if you could chose whether to have text, voice acting or both. That would please everyone.
