question about friend code

wut is it used for and do i need it to play mario kart online (battle)..and wut benefits for using it/not using it.question about friend code
friend codes are basicly like your wii code. you give someone yours they you theirs and then you add eachother and there you go. but each friend code for each game and sometimes each save profile has a different friend code. friend codes are used so that kids don't go giving info to strangers. It's fine to a certain extent. I mean c'mon, friend codes on M games? that's bull. but that's my opinion.I hope this helps.question about friend code
Nah you can play Mario Kart Battle online against strangers. Friend code only if you wanna join friends.

in mario kart you go to friends and it should show you yours. I only play COD though...

Each other need each others friend codes though to play against each other. And yes it is used on Mario Kart Wii.
