Weird Online Mario Kart Experience

Sup guys, Guido4Life here. I'm new to this forum and I have lots of Mario Kart to talk about - I love that GAME! anyways.... So I looked around this forum from my wii a little last night, not much. You know that surfing the net on the wii can be a bit bothersom. I didn't see anything related to this. So I was playing online last night, it was around 2 am. My score was probably at 7100 when I first started the race. Looked like a few newbs were online and a couple folks in the 6400 range. I was kicken @ss and taken names. I won at least 5 or so rounds, bringing my score to around 7400. Last race, Koopa Cape. I was in the lead again. Was about to start on the second lap. I got to the water fall that dumps you into that tunnel. All of a sudden red shells statrted blasting me, I'm talking hardcore attack here. I try going into the tunnel to escape - no luck. Dudes blasten me over and over and over. Then I start getting zapped by lightining plus the red turtle shell attack - over and over.Went on for the rest of the race. I couldn't escape this dude. I got a look at him. Not sure if he was in the race or not, but he was pissen me off. The attack continued down to the 3rd lap. I finally got away from him by going the wrong way back into the tunnel. Zoomed back the right direction and he was gone - I still ended up in 10th even though I got jacked on that race - muhahahaha!Anyways, anyone else ever experience this? This was totally wild. I was a bit stoned at the time, so it was really trippen me out. Was it some glitch in the game? Or does the game have some ghost built into it that keeps you from winning race after race? Ok, well this is my first time seeing this. Im not some hardcore gamer. Ive searched the net and couldnt find anything. Right now a hacking code for the Wii homebrew program Ocarina is doing the rounds. It enables infinite items of any type in Mario Kart Wii online play - Bullet Bills, Lightning Bolts, Blue Shells, whatever. The video above shows a game played with the code in action, and the main player using infinite Blue Shells. It's like a vision of hell. **** lame dude. These people need to get a clue on how to race and stop cheating.
Well I have a similar experience, and this happened twice to me.



I was online playing the balloon battle/coin runner mode, and somehow someone either glitched or hacked the game but he remained invincible for all 3 minutes. Also, he rammed into me repeatedly and stole all my coins, and he was on my team too.

[/QUOTE] That is going to happen sometimes on Mario Kart but you do have some things to learn about.
People cheat online. You're not the first victim of this.
There are cheaters on Mario Kart Wii you are not the only one who has experienced this. You can sometimes lose race by being unlucky with players using Blue Shells epscially on the short courses like Moo Moo Meadows they can be difficult to win against players that aren't as good as you.
Yeah, no-one can get away from cheaters, but not all races are like that. At least you got loads of points.Oh, btw, whatever you do, don't try to cheat too. That just makes it worse for everyone else...
you got hacked dude! One time a guy hit me with a star, got ahead of me and hit me again in reverse, did this about 6 times over and over before i got pissed and turned my wii off
