Its all a matter of personal preference (obviously). I'd go with best Fighting game; Brawl was one of few fighting games I actually enjoyed.

This is like a question that Colbert would ask. ''Great game, or the Greatest game?'' Truth is, it's probably neither. I (and I'm sure others) would argue that it isn't even the best Smash Bros. game.
It's neither. The best game on the Wii is Mario Galaxy, the best game ever is Chrono Trigger, and the best fighting game is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Brawl is just a great game with a whole lot of fan service.
Best fighting game? I don't think so. So it can't be the best video game.



BUT, I think it's the best multiplayer game. If you have one or two friends, this game can last you hours and hours, with all the options and settings you can mess around with. And the items.
