Hi there. I've had the Wii for a while now, and I've noticed something really annoying. My games always save to the Wii hard drive and never to my SD card. Why are my games doing this? I know that my SD card works because I'm able to save screenshots I take in Brawl on it. So, what's the problem? Iss the Wii going to wait untill it's hard drive is full to save on my SD card?Need help saving to SD card
You have to move the files to the SD card, it can't do it automaticallyNeed help saving to SD card
Well how do I do that? I tried going into the Wii's memory the other day and selected each game to copy them over to the SD card. Every time I did this I got a message saying that I could not copy/move that file. Why is it saying that? Also, it turns out that Super Mario Galaxy is saved to both my Wii and SD card. Why did it do that?
Ohhhhhhhh...thatThankfully a super guy went and did a list of games that don't support the SD card at allHERE'S HIS LINK, MY WE'RE ALL BETTER OFF WITH HIM AMONG US
Ok, thank you very much. I just have one last question (I hope it's not too much of a bother): If I transfer my games to my SD card, and then remove them from my Wii's memory, do I need to put a copy of the save file on the Wii's memory in order to be able to play it again? Basically what I'm asking is if I can play my saves directly from the SD card or if I need a copy of the save on the Wii.
No bother, I talk a lot and if I'm not talking someone else is talking lolYou need to move them back.
And same would apply to WiiWare and VC games I assume, is that correct?
YupLater on there will be an update that allows users to save to the SD card directly (don't know when but it'll be fairly soon) but even then we have to move it to the Wii itself to play
Oh wow, that's great. How would a person go about getting this update (Once it's releasd that is)? Would it be in the shop channel?
