The Conduit. is it a good game?

the conduit looks like a very good shooter to me. Does any one else have an opinion on it?The Conduit. is it a good game?
It looks like it could be a good enough corridoor shooter, though Im not expecting it to be up to snuff when compared to some of the bigger shooters around. Also, Im not too keen on the art direction that High Voltage have taken.Still, if it controlls well, Im in. Thats what Im really looking for in this game anyway. The Conduit. is it a good game?
Looks pretty good to me.
We don't know, it isn't out yet.

But the previews have been very positive and I'm really looking forward to this one.
I think it looks good but there is alot of hate for the game.
Well, it LOOKS to be a good game but I'm totally unconvinced. If you've looked through High Voltage's gaming history, you'll see that they've made LOTS of really bad games. I mean, most of their games score between 3.0 and 7.0. Their highest was about a 9.0 and that was on the N64. Only once have they gone over 7.0 by more than .1 or .2 since then.

I'll keep my eye on it but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Usually, I don't pay attention to FPS games (heck, I don't pay attention to PS3/360 news unless it's also on Wii), but The Conduit has me interested. Since my dad is a fan of shooters, my dad %26 I could squeeze tons of time out of this game (too bad there's no offline multiplayer, that would be nice).

Looks pretty good. Is it rated M? because i wanna get it but my parents don't let me get it if its M
i think it will be at least decent..
Well, they're obviously putting their heart and soul into it so it will be at least decent but I really wish they went with a theme/setting that felt more original. If the story-telling is really good and the characters in the game are appealing, they could make up for that.
I think the conduit seems a bit generic and unoriginal. But I'll probably give it at least a rental because it looks like a decent shooter.
The Conduit has a good chance of being the best Wii game.
I'm keeping my eye on it. I think it's shaping up pretty well.
It's not out yet, but the production vids look great, and 16 person online with wiispeak makes it a must buy for me. Join The Conduit Union for more info.
The Conduit looks pretty promising. What we do know is: It looks good; It has very good control; the developer is evidently putting a lot of effort into the title. As Medal of Honor has shown, fantastic FPS control on the Wii can lift pretty much any game out of the pool of mediocracy, so The Conduit looks to have a lot going for it so far. Unfortunately though things like level design, enemy AI, blalancing, story and all those are still up in the air and who knows how that will all come together. At least it has a good base though.
i wouldnt know since i havnt played it yet, but i think it could be good
No one knows, its not out yet.

As for impressions on what we've seen, I think it looks ugly.

It might be the most technically impressive game on the Wii, but the art direction is terrible and really generic.

It's going to be a run of the mill sci-fi shooter -- the only reason its getting more hype is because Wii doesn't get a lot of shooters and this is one that actually might be good and its an exclusive.

Creating licensed games is a much more difficult process, because of the many restrictions, not the least of which is development time.

Yup, only once.. if you forget the two Hunter games(awesome games, btw) that got an 8.0 and a 7.7 and the PC game that got a 7.9.. I can understand how close to 7 those three are that it seems like they are not really even over 7.
