Hmm. Mario Galaxy blew me away the first time, but it lost more mojo than Zelda did on its second play through. I go with Mario.

When I played Super Mario Galaxy for the first time I was just amazed at how awesome it was so I say Super Mario Galaxy easily.
Both are classics in my book, but Galaxy is simply a better game. It has some of the most incredible level designs I've ever seen, and TP didn't really do much for the Zelda formula.
Galaxy was great, but I never really got into it. I prefer Zelda.
That's a really tough decision. If you like Mario and Zelda then get both if you can't decide but for me, I played through Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy twice each and I loved them both. Zelda's harder and Mario's easier, so maybe base your decision off that. In my opinion Super Mario Galaxy is the easiet of the 3D Mario games, though there are some pretty challenging levels like Luigi's Purple Coins, but overall the game was really easy. Twilight Princess has some pretty challenging dungeons and there's a lot of stuff to collect like bugs and heart pieces. Both games have excellent soundtracks. The first time I played both games I beat them both within a week, but beating them so fast didn't make me like one less than the other. Graphically Super Mario Galaxy is superior to Twilight Princess, not that Twilight Princess is a bad looking game, that's only because it's a Gamecube port. So that's my opinion, hope that helps you make a decision.
Most deffinetly Twillight Princess...I guess I'm just not much of a platforming guy....
TPs game save system peed me off to the extent I've never finished it and it left me feeling frustrated so it'll have to be SMG.

Pretty tough choice. :(Ummmmm, Twilight Princess I guess I liked more. Both were terrific games, though.
Zelda kinda just made me wanna finish it. Galaxy I played the game like it was some addictive drug getting 75 stars in 48hours.
Zelda TP was a great game but Mario Galaxy was better
i couldnt get into galaxy like i could with TP. the story is too simple and i dont like how it's broken up into levels. zelda just sucks me in for hours and hoursbut galaxy is obviously better from a technical standpoint. youre comparing a wii game to a gamecube port.

I havent played Galaxy yet, but I can tell you Twilight Princess was phenomonal. But really it all comes down to preference: Platformer vs Adevnture
Both games are incredible. But it depends on your tastes really. Twilight Princess wasn't designed as a Wii game, it was a port of a Gamecube game so it doesn't have the WOW factor that Mario Galaxy has. Don't get me wrong, Twilight Princess is amazing..It brought back memories of Ocarina of Time. If you're looking for more of a challenge, I'd say Twilight Princess. Super Mario Galaxy however has some of the best graphics on the Wii, if not the best. The music is great, especially the boss music when you take on Bowser for the final battle. It was great to have an epic fight after that ebarrassing fight from Mario Sunshine. Overall, they both get a 10/10 from me so it's hard to say which is better..
