World of Goo is scheduled to launch in Europe with an exclusive 6th chapter (the moon) in the first quarter of 2009. Both PC and Wii versions will be available as boxed retail games, and the PC version will be available online as well, through Steam and other digital distribution channels. So European Wii owners have to buy it boxed not get it through Wii-ware?That is cruppy in the extremis.
id buy it as a disc if it released here, it is an awesome game and the xtra content would be totally worth it. I hope the make a sequel, or atleast another game with that style gameplay. Great game,
They recently announced that the boxed version with new content for Wii has been scrapped. It will be released through Wiiware as it was in NA, but I don't know when.
I don't have a link, but they said in an interview lately that its was December 08
