I thought that purple one from Majora's Mask was a lot more annoying. I liked Majora's Mask better though so it's probably because I heard her complaining more often then the other one.
i never found navi annoying, she never really bugged me too much at all.

It was annoying when she kept nagging me about where I'm supposed to go when I wanted to explore and complete side-quests.
Didn't really bother me.
I thought Navi was pretty cool. The lighting effects were beautiful, especially when you entered the darker areas. And she changes colors too. Since fairies have been around in the Legend of Zelda series for a while, I thought the idea of a fairy companion was pretty cool.Navi also was an integral part of the Z-Targeting system (which is still copied by many action/adventure games to this day). The Z-Targeting system on later Zelda games just don't seem as natural as the kind in Ocarina of Time (and Majora's Mask which had the fairy Tatl).

Yeah I agree on what you say. She never bothered me in the game.
i'm about to get ocarina of time for christmas! (i got a couple of wii points cards for christmas this year and am planning on getting it)
I didn't even know she was there for half the game, you barely notice her until the end of the game.
I didn't find her annoying. If she ever said ''Listen!'' to me, I'd just ignore it and go on with my life.
