Because you can directly download VC games unto the SD card BUT CANNOT play them off of the card directly, You must still download them unto the flash memory of the Wii itself. SO if you do not have enough blocks to put the game unto your Wii's memory then it is stuck in your SD card and you cannot play it.But to answer your question TC, I do not see Nintendo creating different SKUs for the Wii while it's selling like Hotcakes. Maybe when the sales start to drop then they might introduce different colours or something. and i highly doubt that they will increase the memory storage within the Wii at any time during this generation.
There's a simple solution to the memorage problem; when your flash memory fills up stop buying things from the Wii shop channel. If everybody did that, Wii Shop Channel sales would drop causing nintendo to take a serious look at that issue. Plain and simple, companies don't fix things unless they effect thier sales.

I'd guess they will, but only when, (or if), wii sales start to slow down. They aren't going to introduce them right now when the sold over 2 million units last month.
I don't know when the sales will die down. Next year will make 3 years since it's been out and it's still sold out in a lot of places but it's a lot more easier to find than before. Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit are still sold out. Every time Nintendo released a Casualized-Hardcore / Casual title it ends up selling like crazy. Will Wii slaes ever slow down? Maybe during the recession but I wouldn't count on it. Wii is still the most fun console around and is at a small price so ppl can afford it.
it's 512 mb and also, they are opening up the sd card so that you can actually store stuff on it, next year will be the year
Once the Wii goes down in sales they might bring in colours or they might bring in different colours in each season. Who knows?
hmm, by the looks of it the wii isnt gonna slow down in sales anytime soon.

Welcome, and actually kinda cheap at $15. I havn't bought one yet (can't decide....) but I did email their customer support people inquiring about stuff and there really friendly and got a reply within like 2 hours. They have skins for everything, not only the Wii's, wiimotes, and nunchucks but other systems, cell phones, etc. Defiantly worth checking out.
